Do you enjoy working in logistics and easily take the lead? Then we are looking for you as a Senior Employee Operations in Zwolle.

You work on the floor and help ensure that our operation runs safely, efficiently, and according to plan. In addition, you support colleagues and replace the Teamleader Operations when necessary.

Where will you be working?

You will be working in our newest depot. At DPD, the operation runs 24/7. Therefore, you work in a fixed schedule with afternoon and night shifts:

• 01:00 - 09:30 AM (night/morning)

• 01:30 - 10:00 PM (afternoon/evening)

Night shifts are usually from Tuesday to Saturday morning. Afternoon shifts are mainly worked from Monday to Friday. Working hours may sometimes vary due to the operation's busyness.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Employee Operations, you combine operational tasks with a coordinating role. You are visibly present on the work floor, monitor the progress of the process, and support the Teamleader Operations in the daily management of the team.

• Loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting packages.

• Guiding and supporting colleagues.

• Monitoring progress, quality, and safety.

• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

• Being the point of contact during the shift.

• Supporting or replacing the Teamleader Operations.

What do we offer you?

• A salary between € 2,501.82 and € 3,574.03 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.

• A position of 38.75 (1 FTE) hours per week.

• A favorable ORT (irregularity allowance)

  • 30% between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM;

  • 45% between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM;

  • 50% on Saturdays and Sundays;

  • 100% on public holidays;

What do you bring?

• MBO level of education.

• Experience in logistics, production, or operations.

• Experience in guiding colleagues is a plus.

• Knowledge of Excel.

• A hands-on, independent work attitude.

• Good communication skills.

• Willingness to work afternoon and night shifts.
