Senior employee operations Meppel

Do you enjoy working in logistics and taking the lead when needed? Then we are looking for you. You will actively work on the warehouse floor, support your colleagues, and help ensure our operation runs safely and efficiently.

Where will you be working?

You will be based at our depot in Meppel. Together with your colleagues, you will help ensure that thousands of parcels are processed on time every day. You will work a fixed schedule with rotating shifts:

• 03:00 - 11:30 (night/morning)

• 11:00 - 19:30 (afternoon/evening)

You are willing to work both shifts according to a predefined schedule.

What will you do?

As a Senior Employee Operations, you will support colleagues on the warehouse floor and assist the Teamleader Operations in the daily operation.

• Load, unload, sort, and scan parcels.

• Monitor operational progress, quality, and safety.

• Support and guide colleagues.

• Identify bottlenecks and help resolve them.

• Act as a point of contact during the shift.

• Support or replace the Teamleader Operations when needed.

• Contribute ideas for process improvements.

What do we offer you?

• A salary between € 2,501.82 and € 3,574.03 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.

• A position of 38.75 (1 fte) hours per week.

• Favorable ORT (irregularity allowance)

  • 30% between 8:00 pm and 12:00 am;

  • 45% between 12:00 am and 6:00 am;

  • 50% on Saturdays and Sundays;

  • 100% on public holidays;

What do you bring?

• MBO-level working and thinking ability.

• Experience in logistics, operations, or production.

• Experience supporting or guiding colleagues is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of Excel.

• Good communication skills.

• A proactive attitude and a sense of responsibility.

• An eye for people and processes.
